In this section, you will learn how to use the Chat functionality in the CMS - exploring different types of conversations that are possible.


Clicking Chat on the Side Bar will bring you to the following screen:


There will be 2 sections under the Inbox Tab. The left section will show the list of conversations that you have had with other users. Clicking on any item in the list will open the conversation in the right section

In this drop-down you have the following 3 options:

  1. Send To Group - In this mode, you will be able to use the filters of Countries(of bookings)/Bookings/Roles/User Language to filter out receivers to whom you wish to send a broadcast. This is basically used to communicate with a group.
    After selecting the receivers, the user has to input a name for the broadcast group and click on Create Group which will open the conversation screen for the user to start sending broadcast messages.

        Any replies received from these users will be shown as one-to-one conversations in the conversation list


    2. One-To-One
          In this mode the user will be able to filter receivers using the Bookings drop-down, select any user he/she wants to communicate with and start the chat which will then be shown in the conversations list. This mode is used to communicate with one person at a time.

    3. Send To All 

        This mode can be used to send broadcast messages to all current user’s(Admin, Users, Travellers, Guides) of CMS. This is irrespective of the bookings they are assigned to.
